End of August

August 25, 2025 Petting the kitty at homeschool co-op. Jane making lemonade for her first lemonade stand. It was a smashing success and she made lots of money to take to Universal Studios. I ended the night with another Harry Potter movie watch party at Katelyn Jones. She really knows how to make it special.

August 10, 2025 I was drawing a mermaid for Jane’s birthday party and she wanted to draw one too. We had a branch dinner at someone’s house. I was in charge. Miss Sue hugging my kids and a different mermaid drawing I did.

August 14-15, 2025 we went on a walk and Jane and Kennoway held hands it was so sweet! On the 15th we went to Jane’s favorite “jump rope gym” called Sega Gym. It’s a gymnastics place that does open gym and the kids love it.

August 16, 2025 we went and hung out at Becky Sue and Jess’ house where Jane got to ride on the four wheeler. She loved it! Jane did a photo shoot of Shaun and I at night.

Back to School

August 1, 2025 backyard play time. We went to the Children’s Museum with the Viola’s.

August 2, 2025 Jane had soccer again and other shenanigans.

August 3-4, 2025 Kennoway being bashful. My Baby 4 Me service missionary meeting. Playing with our friend Julie. Kennoway going to sleep with his favorite book.

August 5, 2025 Jane’s first day of Pre-School! She loved every minute! Her teachers Ms Casey and Ms Maggie were so sweet! We love this school!

August 6, 2025 Had a scary moment with tons of cops coming to the house looking for someone who might commit suicide. They circled our house and went in and checked everywhere. I hope they found the person eventually. staged our house for photos, let the kids listen to a vinyl record story. Ate at Texas Roadhouse for dinner.

August 7, 2025 had a quick trip to Decatur and Athens to look at houses. Drove back and went to Alco’s summer bash.

August 8, 2025 Back to Decatur and Athens to check things out in our new town.

August 9, 2025 Jane’s last day of soccer! She had so much fun with all of her friends!

End of July

July 19, 2025 Home at last and wearing the cute jungle outfits grandma Cheatham bought. Ended the day playing mini golf and games.

July 20, 2025 I decorated the Nursery to help it feel more welcoming. We made the most delicious s’mores cookies. Then ended the day at the Shelby Farms dog park walking on the beautiful paths and having fun with Bella.

July 21, 2025 We went to library story time where the Memphis Tigers Cheerleaders were reading today.

July 22, 2025 Jane had Christmas in July at school.

July 23, 2025 We went to the fire engine museum today with our friend Summer and her mom Emily Gallups. The kids had a blast and begged to go back.

July 25-26, 2025 We went to Chick-fil-A with Becky Sue (Mimi). On Saturday Jane had a soccer game with her friends Olivia, Julie, and Naomi. I threw a baby shower for my friend Raechel. It was underwater themed. Ended the day at Costco.

July 27-28, 2025 A photo of me and my friend from church. My cute boys sleeping! Then a zoo day with the Summers! We love going to the zoo with Erica, Jacob, and Julie!

July 29-30, 2025 Jane with her teacher Ms Heather on the last day of school. Jane got face paint at school. I got a new dress from the thrift store. Jane got a new super cute costume from Grandma Cheatham, and look at this cute photo Jane took of Kennoway.

July 31, 2025 the last day of the month! Ended it at the Children’s museum and at a Harry Potter watch party. It was a great day!

Oregon Part 2

July 15, 2025 Jane got a cute message from her class while we were gone on vacation. Jane got to hold Cheyanne. We took a walk on the rocks by the beach and then ate at a very yummy restaurant. We then went and took family photos (I took them) in the freezing cold. They turned out so cute! We ended the day hanging with family. The last picture is of my Grandma Sandra and her twin brother Skip.

July 16, 2025 This day was jam packed full of fun, we played, went exploring, found a HUGE star fish, and hung out! I did a fun girls photo shoot with my mom and Holland! I did an ethereal photo shoot with Holland on the beach that i’ve been dying to do for a long time. We had a huge multi-generational family reunion on the beach, and then hung out at night.

July 17, 2025 The last morning! We got a family picture in front of the beach our house was on and Jane got to do a few more snuggles with baby Cheyanne. Then we drove to Portland where we found out our flight had been cancelled and pushed to the next day.

Oregon Part 1

July 12, 2025 Jane had a soccer practice before we left for our big trip! The kids loved the airplane and I loved our hotel! It was a really cool vintage hotel!

July 13, 2025 We ate some breakfast at the hotel and then to a pastry shop that had the most delicious pastries. We explored downtown, went to church, and found some fun stores to explore! We got to go to Powell’s books a famous book store and walked so many miles!

July 14, 2025 Got another pastry and was able to go to Powell’s books again to see the rare books room. Then off we went adventuring. We went to some mansion for a cool lookout and then to my favorite the Tillamook factory for all things dairy. Grilled cheese and ice cream are my favorite. Then we headed for the Oregon Coast and drove through lots of trees. Saw a butt mountain! Finally made it to my family, the coast, and the amazing house we were staying in. It was so fun to hug all my family and see everyone! I loved every minute!

July 7-11

July 7, 2025 Shaun was exhausted after our crazy weekend and fell asleep on the clean laundry which I used as an excuse not to fold it! Haha

July 8, 2025 Jane read “I am a Bunny” to Kennoway. It’s his favorite book right now. I had a HP and the prisoner of Azkaban watch party with my friends and Katelyn always goes all out. It’s so fun!

July 9, 2025 Zoo day with the Clarke’s! A silly Kennoway picture, “cheese!”

July 10, 2025 10 year anniversary! Shaun made a yummy breakfast and then we went on a date to Libro at Laurelwood at Novel book store! It was perfect!

July 4th and Whatnot

July 2, 2025 we went to Rainbow Lake Park with the Summers and had so much fun!

July 3, 2025 First day in Huntsville, really Madison, Decatur, and Athen’s Alabama. Here’s a park we found in Madison and a pretty view on our drive back home to Memphis!

July 4, 2025 We went to the annual neighborhood 4th of July parade and party and the kids had a blast! They rode their bikes in the parade and got to play in the water spray of the fire truck! Jane appropriately wanted to watch Pocahontas. Hahaha. Then we had people over for a yummy dinner. Shaun was in heaven with all of the smoked meat our friends the Batemans brought. We all headed to Shaun’s office to watch fireworks on the river. It was a blast! One of my favorite Memphis traditions.

End of June

June 23, 2025 we FaceTimed with Grandma Cheatham and got to see Great Grandma Wainwright too! Jane or Kennoway took this screenshot!

June 24, 2025 Jane was determined to look like Ms. Rachel today until we got the mail and saw a new dress from Grandma Walker. Jane made a fun Lego thing at school. Jane asked me to take a picture of her huge spinach leaf and said, “it’s big enough for Grandpa Walker!” Jane has been loving doing things on her own lately and she wanted to brush her hair and get her clothes on for bed all on her own.

June 25, 2025 We went blueberry picking with some friends! It was so fun! Pictured is Jane, Ivy, and Remy. And then Summer, Jane and Kennoway.

June 26, 2025 Kennoway was sitting so cute at breakfast. We went to say goodbye to one of my friends Lorin Hurley before she moves. I had a Benson Boone mystical magical cookie and it was so yummy! A double Daisy in my garden. Harry Potter watch party with my friends, Chamber of Secrets! My friend Katelyn Jones goes all out with these parties!

June 27, 2025 went with Erica, Julie, and Jacob Summers to the botanic gardens rain and river area! It was so fun! Jane dressed up like Harry Potter and Ivy came over and Jane read her a book.

June 28, 2025 Kennoway and all of his basket balls. He loves playing with balls! Going away party for Vilma Carnahan family! We will miss them so much! Kennoway playing piano!

June 20, 2025 We went peach picking as a family and it was so cute! The kids had a blast trying to find the ripe ones. It was a little hot but we got a whole basket and they were so yummy!! Jane drew a picture of us picking peaches. Shaun and I went on a little date night! I got carbonara and it was delicious!

June 21, 2025 Jane went to her friend Summer’s birthday party! It was so cute! Last picture is Claire, Summer, and Jane who all attend Mullins together!

June 22, 2025 Kennoway has loved playing with babies lately. He’s such a good little daddy. He loved this baby a church someone brought. Daddy reading scriptures to the kids.

Father’s Day and Other Adventures

June 13, 2025 Jane likes making flowers with her cereal sometime. We went to the zoo with friends and it was so much fun! When we looked outside the window everything was yellow, when we went outside we saw why! The golden clouds were so pretty!

June 14, 2025 Took Jane on a mommy daughter date and got Cold Stone! My silly bath babies!

June 15, 2025 Bella looked like a highland cow! Happy Father’s Day to Shaun! A fun car shirt to let the kids give him a good back scratching! My daisies are growing so well! We went on a family walk and Jane walked Bella. She’s such a good girl! She was very soft for Jane. Jane’s new pajamas from our date the day before.

June 16, 2025 Dentist appointment for Jane! Fun library adventures with the kids. Jane wearing her great grandmother’s veil and a little park date!

June 17, 2025 Kennoway sporting no pants and cute little yellow rain boots! Shaun put Jane to bed and fell asleep like a baby haha.

June 18, 2025 Jane brought a clown nose from school that we tried on in the morning! We saw Kennoway’s first ever movie in a theatre. Despicable Me 4! He surprisingly sat through the whole thing and we all really enjoyed it! We went to Sea Isle park after nap time and Kennoway found his first little park friend. It was a fun day!

Mexico Part 2

June 8, 2025 Today we went on a catamaran and went snorkeling! Both kids fell asleep on the catamaran and most of the people aboard got sea sick. Thank goodness for my iron stomach. Not pictured is Jane and I getting to hold a few different starfish, a baby crab, and sea urchins our guide found for us!

Then we went to feed Manatees (the cutest little sea cows), Shaun and I got to meet sea lions and get a big smooch, and then we got to swim with dolphins! The dolphins looked so happy and like they were having so much fun with us! The kids were pretty done by the time we hit up the dolphins but the dolphins were my favorite part!

We took family pictures in the evening! The sunset was so pretty!

June 9, 2025 we had a very chill day after the crazy day yesterday! We explored a bit, took our 52 person family picture and saw the prettiest moon on our way home from dinner.

June 10, 2025 today we hung out by the pool and ate all the good food. Jane played at the kids club and got to have a whack at a piñata. We loved spending time with cousins.

June 11, 2025 Flights and travel home! What a great trip!

Mexico Part 1

June 4, 2025 Travel Day! Jane had a blast meeting our pilots and asking them for a trading card. They were all so nice and even took pictures of her flying the plane. We arrived in Mexico and the Barcelo Maya Palace resort just in time for a gorgeous sunset!

June 5, 2025 Today we went swimming, ate good food, had yummy virgin drinks, Jane got fun face paint, and I got the worst sunburn I’ve gotten since high school!

June 6, 2025 Excursion day! We packed up the family and took a sprinter van to an amazing Cenote! Jane says the Cenote was her most favorite part of the trip. We got to go down into it and swim in the beautiful water. Then we went and saw Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the world! It was amazing to see and test out the clapping bird sounds. Also the Mayan were the inventors of basketball so it was really fun to see the first “hoops.” They then took us to this church, who knows why haha. It was such a fun day! We loved every minute!

June 7, 2025 Today was Dana’s birthday so we did a lot of celebrating! Cousin time, beach time and exploration, and lots of good food!

May 31, 2025 Jane in her vintage fit! We finally took Daddy to the Children’s museum! We had fun! Bought a snorkel for our trip to Mexico. Had the Malinka’s over for dinner. Pictured is Bethany and her son Heber who is the same age as Kennoway.

May 19-25

5/19/2025 Jane wanted to show off her outfit and jewelry she picked to wear to library story time. We wore matching shirts and it was so fun! We went with Julie Summers and saw Russell Beeton, Jane’s friend from church too. Bella follows Kennoway all over when he has food and now I know why. Kennoway sneaks her some of his snack! Shaun left me a sweet message to clean up in the kitchen haha. Jane tried on mom’s hair color!

5/20/2025 my Kennoway boy is obsessed with books lately. Here’s how he fell asleep for nap time with book in hand. Jane dressed up like Gabby from Gabby’s Doll house.

5/21/2025 Jane’s headstands and zoo day! Kiddos had a blast. My daisies are finally blooming! I caught Kennoway scooping butter off the table and eating it. Haha Both the kids loved the cookies we made. And I loved the drama of how Jane fell asleep haha.

5/22/2025 Jane’s last day of spring semester. Next year she’ll be in official preschool! Her and Julie have had so much fun at school. Jane and her teacher Ms. Heather.

5/23/2025 We all got the stomach flu and I got to snuggle Kennoway during nap time! Lots of resting done today. Kennoway loves giving kisses lately.

Mother’s Day

5/11/2025 It was such a beautiful day! I woke up to the sweetest gift chosen by Jane. A book mark with a cat and unicorn on it and a children’s book. Shaun made me egg McMuffins for breakfast. We got a flower at church. We went and had dinner at the Evans and it was just a really lovely time.

5/13/2025 Jane came and snuggled me in the morning and wanted to take a picture together to send to Grandma Cheatham. Then I went on one of the most beautiful walks in Shelby Farms with Ashling.

5/14/2025 Memphis Botanic Garden adventures with Julie and Erica Summers!

5/15/2025 Jane found the biggest strawberry and said “it’s big enough for grandpa!” Haha. Our outdoor movie theatre is closing and I wanted a photo for memories. It’s one of Jane’s favorite places and she is devastated. Jane and Kennoway playing so happy on the tramp and Jane’s hair after a long brushing.

5/16/2025 Park time! Kennoway was really loving the swirly slide. I went on my first night EVER away from my kids. So it’s been 4 and a half years since I’ve had a night away. It was so much fun! I went to Villa Castrioti with Ashling and then we went back and watched a true crime documentary and talked until very early in the morning. I slept in until 11am and then we went to Novel, my favorite book store and explored. It was so much fun! A perfect girls weekend!

5/18/2025 Jane went to her friend Lily Anna’s birthday party at Pump it Up and then in the car I just saw her glowing and had to capture it. My little sunshine girl!

5/9/2025 Jane reading a book to Kennoway, it was literally so sweet! Kennoway had a massive booger face! We went to the zoo and Jane pretended to be a mermaid in the sea lion show area. We went with Alexis and Ivy and said goodbye as they leave for three weeks. My silly goose’s in their “boats.” Kennoway protecting himself and his snack from Bella under the table. 5/10/2025 More silly Kennoway booger face! We held a party for Shaun’s birthday! I forgot to take a picture with everyone but at least I got some! We had burgers and homemade root beer and Shaun made a cobbler. It was so fun!

5/2/2025 We went on a walk on the Greenline today and it was literal perfection! It was so beautiful! We ended the day with some Gibson’s donuts.

April 21-27 Grandma Cheatham Comes to Visit

4/21/2025 We went to the zoo to wait until Grandma flew in with the Summer’s. My mom flew out to see us and spend a week with us and it was Heaven! Her first day we played in the yard and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was so fun!

4/22/2025 We went on a nice long walk in Shelby farms! It was so beautiful we had to get some photos!

4/23/2025 Today we went to the zoo and the the botanic gardens! It was crazy but so fun!

4/24/2025 Today we took Kennoway to the Children’s museum and then picked Jane up from school early and went to Chick-fil-A to play and eat! We taught Jane to play tilt and it was so fun!

4/25/2025 today we took the kids to Sega Gym otherwise known as “the jump rope gym.” We ended the day by going to One and Only BBQ and it was so yummy!

4/26/2025 Started Saturday off right by going to get donuts. Then we went to Hallie Dabney’s first birthday. It was so cute. We went home and played for a little and then my mom watched the kids while Shaun and I went to Becky Sue’s Shakespeare play. It was so good!

4/27/2025 A beautiful Sunday that ended with an awesome fireside by Jared Halverson. It was so fun having my mom visit!
